Heather Jean Black
A design professional and educator, Heather offers workshops and programs on motivation and creativity. To help clients achieve their goals, she combines option-generation with evidence-based cognitive therapy practices. An innovator, she shares her passion for ecology and design with youth at the elementary and secondary level. Over the past thirty years, she has taught enrichment activites, designed instructional texts and promotional materials for school boards and multinationals. A graduate of Dalhousie University (B.A., B.Ed) and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (B.Design), she is currently studying educational psychology and counselling at McGill University. She writes an art review and a community profile column for the Westmount Independent.
